Every business has a story, and ours begins with two people who have seen every side of lending. Between them, Narinder Khattoare and Hiran Patel bring more than 40 years of hands-on experience in specialist finance, bridging loans and property lending.

From the front line of lending to building Credco

Narinder’s career began in grassroots lending, helping customers access finance when traditional banks would not. It taught him the importance of trust, fairness and clear communication, values that still shape his approach today.

He went on to join Prudential as a national account manager, helping launch the Vitality protection product in the UK. Later, he moved into luxury asset lending with Borro, arranging finance against cars, art and fine wine.

In 2013 he became one of the founding team at Kuflink, a bridging and development finance business that grew to a £140 million loan book and more than £400 million invested through its platform. After a decade at the top, Narinder wanted to return to what he enjoys most: working directly with clients and building a brand that puts people before profit.

The detail behind every deal

Hiran’s route into finance was just as varied. After running small businesses and working in consumer lending, he joined Loans 2 Go, moving from car-secured loans into unsecured personal lending. He later underwrote regulated second-charge mortgages at Equifinance, before joining Kuflink as one of its first underwriters.

Over five years, Hiran built the entire underwriting function from a single desk to a full team, progressing to Chief Risk Officer. Known for his calm, precise approach, he focuses on structuring deals that work for both borrower and lender.
At Credco, Hiran leads on technical structuring, compliance and risk management, ensuring every proposal we put forward is lender-ready, accurate and deliverable.
